Dear Volunteer,

 

I personally want to take this time to thank you for your dedication and support.  Without volunteers like you, we could not possibly succeed at the programs and efforts we focus on at the chamber.  Our “Tour ‘de Campaign” goal for 2008 is to raise over $1 million which is very exciting!

 

This year’s Total Resource Campaign is going to be more focused and concentrated to accomplish our goals over a shorter period of time.  I ask that you keep in mind however, that our campaign efforts are actually year-round; so get engaged early and often.

 

We will set campaign goals for every team as well as each individual volunteer this year.  You will have the opportunity to raise funds and earn incentives including an all-expenses paid vacation to a tropical destination with other top achievers.  I challenge each of you to use the resources available to stretch for our overall goal.

 

I myself, the vice-chairs, your team captains and the chamber staff will work closely with you to make sure you succeed.  As we finally break the million dollar barrier, I ask that you focus on some key areas that we feel are critical to the long-term success of the chamber:

 

·         Recruiting new members

·         Upgrading existing members

·         Sponsorships and support of our monthly scheduled events

·         Sponsorships and support of our annual events

 

For now, enjoy the journey, shoot for success and most importantly have fun!  We will succeed and we all will reap the benefits of a GREAT Columbia!
